Top 5 old bamboo toothbrush uses

Tip: It's best to sanitise your old toothbrush in hot water for approximately 5 minutes prior to reusing.

1. Spruce Up Those Converse

Toothbrush bristles removes mud and buffs away scuff marks. I like to make an eco cleaning paste out of bicarbonate of soda and water. *Please wear gloves if you have sensitive skin and check whether the material of the shoes are suitable for bicarbonate of soda.

2. Coach Commando Task

The dry bristles are ideal for getting rid of dirt, dust and grime from remote controls, gaming controls and keyboard keys. *Please ensure all electronic devices are turned off at the mains before cleaning.

3. Plants, Glorious Plants

Bamboo toothbrush handles make wonderful dibbers for seeds, stem supports and labels. Before using, simply remove the plastic bristles with pliers and place in the recycling bin. (Check that your local authority recycles them).

4. Sparkling Kitchen & Bathroom

Bristles are ideal for cleaning tile grouting, removing soap residue around taps, plug holes and in the sink.

5. Dust Fairy

Use the dry bristles to clear away dust and fluff from hairdryer vents, fans and extractor fans. *Switch all appliances off at the mains prior to cleaning.
